Recently, on a visit to South Korea led by the Department of Science and Technology in Shandong province, the Graphite enterprise in Qingdao high-tech zone and Korean Standard Graphite signed the “Agreement of Construction of International Graphite Innovation Center by China and South Korea’’. In order to meet this goal, the two sides will deepen cooperation.
China possesses enough Graphite resources to support the graphite industry’ development, with reserve exceeds 75% of the world's total volume, and production exceeds 72% of the world's total output. Qingdao graphite reserves accounts for 22% of the national resources, having the resource advantage to develop the graphite industry. With the help this platform of "joint innovation center (Qingdao)", not only can Qingdao’s international influence in the graphite circle be effectively improved , will also the acceleration of graphite industry be reached. In that way, Gingdao’s innovative-oriented city’s build can be accelerated, which will drive more innovation resources, including talent and capital investment in Qingdao, and realize the rapid and sustainable development of new emerging industries in Qingdao.
