As a result of the developed financial industry, the service industry also occupies an increasingly important position in the Swiss economy.

On October 28, 2015, the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly elected members of the United Nations Human Rights Council, and Switzerland was elected with a term from 2016 to 2018.
